Secure parking, the location was perfect, close to convenience stores to a castle and near the center of town
-
not far from the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. it's minutes away from the locke, good for a little drink. would recommend to others.
-
Nice breakfast and helpful personnel. We greatly enjoyed the bed, which was super. Superior hotel by Abbey River. In addition, parking is located on-site. The whole experience was comfortable!
-
Good location, not far from the city. Car parking was available for free and clean

The hotel is quite centrally located. One is in few walking minutes in the city. The rooms/suites have a very generous space with balcony and a great view over the river. Also the entrance hall was very spacious and stylish. Parking in the underground car park is free of charge. The rooms were equipped with kettle and coffee maker, two flat screens (one in the sleeping area, separated by a partition wall, and one in the room) sofa, armchair, small table and chairs, large bathroom with two washbasins, bathtub and shower. The breakfast, except for cheese and sausage, left nothing to be desired.
It was all very good. But if we are to say what we did not like so much, then these two points. The sausage and cheese at breakfast looked unappetizing (with dry edges). I didn't mind that, but my husband would have liked to eat sausage, so he pinched himself. We were on the way in threes and would have liked to have a three-bed room. That would have gone with extra bed with the size of the rooms also very problem-free, was unfortunately not offered.

Restaurant was excellent, and food was very reasonably priced. Parking is good and included in room price or "free" . Room was spacious and comfortable. Liked TV/ entertainment options, Shower was nice, bed comfortable. Room temp was nice.. Lights were easy to use. Didn't use gym or spa so no comments to make on these Nor did we have breakfast.
the... aspect of room key for elevator use is a bit unusual..and had to figure that

Beautiful, spacious rooms with great decor and food was very good indeed.
There are glass doors to bathroom and shower, which is no problem for couples or solo travellers, however, if you're staying with a friend / colleague in the same room - ie. twin room - it wouldn't be for me.
-
Central location - can walk to city centre, King John's castle and Hunt museum. Very clean. Great breakfast. Reasonable price.
Architecture/design - all glass and steel - cold functional feel to the place. Did not like bar/dining room arrangement. Dining area closed on 21 October 2012; in a 4 star hotel??? Food served in bar area which was almost deserted: not an inviting place.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room we were in ie a Superior was a great size as was the bathroom although nowhere really to put your toiletries. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning wasn't great as couldn't adjust it to our liking so we just opened the window and turned off the a/C. Good floor facilities ie ice machine and vending machine. Room service was very quick and food lovely. Room was also lovely and quiet even though our room was closest to the lift and ice machine/vending machine on our floor.
Air-conditioning as it was very noisey and hard to adjust and the fact that there was nowhere to put your toiletries as there were no shelves in the bathroom.
-
Very comfortable and quiet. High quality decor and very friendly staff. I dealt with Milda, who was particularly friendly and helpful.
I thought the hotel was expensive. I am a frequent business user of branded hotels and would compare the Absolute with a Radisson hotel, however, at €140 per night, it was pricier that even Dublin for an equivalent standard. I suspect that the Munster/Ulster rugby match and the Easter weekend were influencing factors. The basement carpark is very small and was full when I arrived early on the day of check-in. These comments should not detract from what is a very nice hotel.
-
Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. safe parking. Excellent room/ good bar food.
I would prefer a better wine list. Prosecco was good but very overpriced and the rest of the wine list was poor.
-
Building itself very nicely done, clean and tidy.
After 23h no visits are allowed. Absolutely ridiculous and after all, not stated. We intended to meet with friends who even were not allowed to enter the lobby. They explained as security reason...even so, guests should be informed about that. If we knew in front, surely would not go for this hotel
-
The hotel was spotless and nice and quiet. The rooms were lovely and spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom.
The menu in the bar wasn't great - it could have had a little more options.
-
Front desk and restaurant staff were very kind and helpful. Location is fantastic for all the sights in Limerick.
Construction on stairs, one elevator out simultaneously, and busy staff (who eventually helped redirect me)meant it took over 15 minutes one morning to get to the ground floor...late to meet my ride! Frustrating, but probably a rare occurrence. Still, you might want to check to see if issues are resolved if you can't do stairs.

Everything about the hotel was top quality.
The size of the bed , bedsheets, the lovely shower head, and nice breakfast.
